　　语法精讲—冠词

　　一、不定冠词 a/an 的用法

　　1.a 用于辅音音素开头的单数可数名词前。如：

　　a woman, a book, a photo, a pen

　　2.an 用于元音音素开头的单数可数名词前。

　　如：an apple, an egg, an honest student, an interesting book

　　注：此处的辅音音素和元音音素是指单词发音的第一个音素，而不是单词的首字母。如 a university, an umbrella。

　　3.用在第一次提到的人或事物前。如：

　　I have a new pen. 我有一支新笔。

　　4.泛指某个人，某一类人或物。如：

　　A girl is waiting for you.有个女孩正在等你。

　　5.用于固定搭配或习惯用法。如：

　　have a good time, in a minute, go for a walk

　　二、定冠词 the 的用法

　　1.用于世上独一无二的事物前。如：

　　the moon, the sun, the earth

　　2.用于特指的人、物或上文提过的人或物。如：

　　There is a boy over there and the boy is crying.

　　那里有一个男孩，他正在哭。

　　3.用于形容词前表示一类人。如：

　　the rich, the poor, the young, the old

　　4.用于序数词和形容词最高级前。如：

　　He is the tallest in our class. 他是我们班最高的。

　　We live on the third floor. 我们住在三楼。

　　5.用在表示乐器名称的名词前。如：

　　play the piano/ violin 弹钢琴 / 拉小提琴

　　注意：中国乐器前不用定冠词 the

　　6.用于姓氏复数前，表示“一家人”。如：

　　The Greens are in the same company.

　　格林一家在同一家公司。

　　7.用于江河、湖泊、山脉、海洋、群岛前。如：

　　the Yellow River 黄河，the Pacific（Ocean) 太平洋，the Himalayas 喜马拉雅山脉

　　8.用在单数可数名词前，表示类别。如：

　　The horse is a useful animal.

　　马是一种很有用的动物。

　　9.用于由普通名词构成的专有名词前。如：

　　the Great Wall 长城

　　The People’s Republic of China 中华人民共和国

　　10.用在限制性介词短语或定语从句修饰的名词前。如：

　　The lady with a baby in her arm is my aunt.

　　那个怀里抱着婴儿的女士是我的姑姑。

　　The shirt which has two pockets is mine.

　　那件有两个口袋的衬衫是我的。

　　11.用于固定搭配或习惯用法。如：

　　at the end of, go to the cinema

　　三、零冠词的用法

　　1.用在三餐、球类运动、学科名词前。如：

　　have breakfast/lunch/dinner, play basketball

　　2.用在星期、月份、季节、节假日前。如：

　　Sunday, March, National Day

　　3.名词前有指示代词（this, that)、物主代词（my,your)、不定代词（some, each, every)等时，用零冠词。如：

　　She has read every book on the shelf.

　　她把书架上每本书都读过了。

　　4.用在与 by 连接的交通工具前。如：

　　by bus, by bike, by train, by air

　　5.用于固定搭配或习惯用法。如：

　　at home, at lunch, at least, in fact, in danger, in trouble, in time, on time

　　6.表示独一无二的职位在用作表语或宾语补足语时通常不用冠词。

　　如：president, captain,chairman 等。

　　Donald Trump is president of America now.

　　特朗普是美国现任总统。

　　注意：此处如果表示一个人的话要用定冠词。

　　The Chairman wants to say something to those workers.
