本 单 元 话 题 为 “ 我 们 怎 样 变 化 的 ” ， 主 要 围 绕 人 或 事
物 从 过 去 到 现 在 所 发 生 的 变 化 展 开 描 述 。 写 作 时 首 先
要 理 清 写 作 的 逻 辑 顺 序 ， 注 意 过 去 与 现 在 的 对 比 。 在
句 式 的 使 用 上 ， 既 可 用 used to do/be… ,but now… ,也
可 以 直 接 用 一 般 过 去 时 描 述 过 去 的 情 况 ， 用 一 般 现 在
时 描 写 现 在 的 情 况 ， 各 种 句 式 交 替 使 用 ， 以 免 文 章 显
得 呆 板 。
写 作 此 类 话 题 作 文 的 常 用 表 达 有 ：
(1) … used to do/be
(2) How/what about you?
(3) … has/have changed a lot in the last few years.

Changes in people’ s life
Great changes have taken place in people’s life in the last
few years.
In the past people kept in touch with relatives or friends
mainly by sending letters. They would listen to the radio
for news and other information. Children used to go to
school by bike. Big families had to share small rooms.
Now people can talk to others by telephone or on the
internet at home. When they are free, they watch the news
and other programs on TV. Some families are rich enough
to send their children to school in their own cars. More
and more people live in big and bright apartment with
several rooms.
In a word, people live better than before.
