A butterfly-shaped island called Astypalea may become Greece's first carbon-free(无碳的)place for tourists.Under an agreement with the government, Volkswagen, a carmaker, has given several new electric cars to this island for its public services; and it will sell others at cost price to the local people. Different from other nearby islands,Astypalea is not connected to Greece's electricity grid(电网）.With only 3.000 rooms for visitors in small hotels, tourism is still not very developed.
