【不定冠词】

不定冠词a/an只用于单数可数名词前，表泛指。a用于发音以辅音音素开头的单词前，如:a book，a man，a university等;an用于发音以元音音素开头的单词前，如:anhour，an English teacher,an umbrella等。不定冠词的主要用法如下表：
