区分主动语态和被动语态

We clean the windows every day.(主动语态)

当主语we是动作clean的发出者的时候，这就是一个主动语态句子。The windowsare cleanedevery day (by us).(被动语态)当主语the windows是动作clean的承受者的时候，这就是一个被动语态句子。介词by就是被动语态的标志词。

除了掌握结构，同学们还要关注以下几个被动语态的特殊用法。

主动形式表被动意义

open, lock, write, read, sell, clean, wash, cut, drive等词作不及物动词时，它们的主语为物，可用主动语态表被动意义。

1.This kind of pen writes very smoothly.

look, sound, taste, smell等系动词用主动形式来表达被动意义。

2.Moon cakes taste good.3.This book is worth reading.

want/need/require+doing相当于want/need/require+to be done

4.My bike needsto be repaired.=My bike needsrepairing.

特殊用法

如see, hear, feel, watch, make, let, help在主动语态中常接不带 to的动词不定式，变为被动后则要加上to

有些动词，，如：make sb. do sth. →被动：be made to do sth.see sb. do sth. →被动：be seen to do sth.help sb. (to) do sth. →被动：be helped to do sth.The boss made him work 14 hours a day. That means, hewas made towork14 hours a day.
