地点副词和方位副词

1. 地点副词表示地点的副词和表示位置关系的副词统称为地点副词。常见的地点副词有here, there, up, down, away, nearby, home, ahead, abroad, indoors, overseas, halfway, up, downstairs, upstairs等。

upstairs

例如：Can you help to carry this table?

地点副词在句中的位置：地点副词常放在动词后面，如果是及物动词，一般就放在宾语后面。

somewhere

如：I remember having seen him.

Wuxia films are popular in China.

地点副词和时间副词并列使用时，一般要把地点副词放在时间副词之前。

here

如：We had a meetingyesterday.

here

He did the work carefullyyesterday.

如果地点状语很长时，也可以放在时间状语之后。

如：He was born in 1940 in a small village at the foot of Mount Tai.

副词可以用作表语，主要是地点副词，时间副词和其他副词有时也可以用作表语。

inside

如：They are. 他们在里面。

away

How long will she be? 她要离开多久?

back

When will you be? 你什么时候回来?

around

You haven't beenmuch. 你很少到这边来。

round

He'll bein an hour. 他一个小时内就到。

in

Now autumn is. 秋天来了。

off

I must benow. 我得走了。

behind

We arein our plan. 我们落在计划后面了。

注：在表示位置关系的副词中，有些副词也可用作介词(如：above, over, beyond, around, below, down, up, in, along, near, off, on, past等)，在没有宾语时就是副词，有宾语时就是介词：

如：Comein, please. (副词)

They live in the next room.(介词)

Let's take along. (副词)

Let's walk along this street. (介词)

She looked around.(副词)

They sat around the table. (介词)

Let's go on with the work.(副词)

What subject will you speak on? (介词)

2.方位副词在句中的作用，常常是描述句子谓语动词的方向或空间范围，常见的方位副词：

where, there, up, down, away, nearby, home, ahead, abroad, indoors, overseas, halfway, upstairs, downstairs

3. 注意以上方位副词和方位介词的不同，方位介词属于借此范畴，所以后面会跟一个名词性结构(包括名词、代词、动名词)，如：

in front of 在...前面(不在物体范围内)

in the front of 在...前面(在物体范围内)

in the center of在...中心

between...and... 在...之间

at the back of 在...后面(在物体范围内)

behind 在...后面(不在物体范围内)

beside /next to/close to 靠近

near 附近

on the left/right在左/右边

across from对面

far from离...远

away from远离

at the school gate在学校大门

on the first street/turning/crossing在第一个拐角

at the bridge在桥上

on/in the street在接上
