表示方位的介词。

同样可分三类

1）强调地点，如at, in, on, to。at多用来表示具体的小地点，如　at school / home， at the foot of the hill（在山脚下）；

同学们特别要注意：in、on、to这三个介词的用法，in表示在大地方或者表示“在……范围之内”，还可以表示从属关系（属于）如in Beijing / China，Hainan is in the south of China.；

on强调“在……之上” 还有紧挨着，表示接壤关系，如on the desk（在书桌上），Korea（朝鲜）is on the east of China.；

to表示既不接壤也不属于，如Japan is to the east of China.（日本在中国的东部）。

2)强调方位， above、on、over。这里特别注意above与over，都表示“在……之上”的意思，不同的是如over正上方，强调一种垂直距离反义词 under，例如，There is a bridge over the river.；above斜上方不强调垂直，反义词是below 。

3）强调位置，如：behind、in front of、beside。in front of 和behind是一组反义词，表示在……前面/在……后面。

3、表示以某种方式完成某事的方法介词。常见的方法介词有三个，through、with、by。如：by bike. （骑自行车）；You can write with your pen.；Through her efforts，she finally solved this problem. （通过不懈的努力，她终于解决了这个难题）。

4、表示数量介词。常见的用来表示数量的介词有about、around、over，如He is over 30。
