　　In the past, this sort of work was all done by hand.

　　6. subsequently 接着、随之

　　In 1982 he was arrested and subsequentlyconvicted on drug trafficking charges.

　　7. eventually 最终

　　Although she had been ill for a long time, it still came as a shock when sheeventually died.

　　虽然她已病了好长时间，但当她最后去世时，我们仍然感到非常震惊。

　　语法补充：Eventually 和 finally的不同:

　　用finally 表达列表中的最后一个项目、口述的最后一点或是表达某事「终于达成」(有开心或松一口气之意味)。

　　用eventually表示in the end(在最终)，通常是用于长时间、下很多功夫或是遇到很多问题的事件。
