As can be seen from the table, great changes took place in the ways that people spent their holidays over the period from the year 1990 to 1999.
The proportion of traveling abroad and camping was increasing steadily, from 12% to 24% and from 10% to 36% separately, while that of staying at home and going to the seaside was decreasing year by year, from 38% to 31% and from 40% to 9% separately.
Why were there changes? I think people can nowadays afford traveling.Also, people prefer to pursue a high-quality and colorful life. So we can see that people‘s living standard has been rising greatly.
