Because 连词：因为。
考点1：后面跟从句。Eg：I am happy because I got a birthday present.
考点2：because of，后面加sth或doing sth，不跟句子。 Eg：He walked slowly because of his bad leg

Become 动词：变成，成为。
考点1：变得。Eg： It becomes more and more difficult to live in this country.
考点2：固定句型：what became of sb/sth，表示某人发生了什么？ 相当于，what happened to sb/sth？

表示变化的一类词：become，get，turn，go（go通常不太积极，比如go bad，go wrong等）
Bee 名词：蜜蜂，忙碌的人。

Before 介词，副词，连词：在。。之前，以前。
考点1：在。。。之前。Eg：before lunch. Eg：Did she leave a message before she went?
考点2：以前。Eg：I think we've met before.

Long before，很久以前，not long before，不久以前。
The day before yesterday，前天。The day after tomorrow，后天。
Begin 动词：开始，着手。
考点1：开始，begin sth 或begin to do sth。
考点2：开始说，Eg：'Ladies and gentlemen,' he began, 'welcome to the Town Hall
考点3：着手。Eg：We began this project in May.

To begin with，用于句首，相当于firstly。
Beginner，新手。Beginning，开端。Eg：at the beginning of sth。
Behind 介词，副词：在后面，在。。之后。
考点1：在。。后面。Eg： a small street behind the station
考点2：在后方支持或负责。Eg：whatever she decided, her family was right behind her.
Eg： He was the man behind the plan

Fall behind，落后。
Believe 动词：相信，认为。
考点1：相信。Eg：It hard to believe his words.
考点2：认为。Eg：Scientists believe the environment is getting worse.

To see is to believe，眼见为实。
注意believe和trust的区别，believe后面通常跟的是事情或话语，而非人。相反trust后面则跟人。要表示信任某人，就是trust sb，或believe in sb。而表示相信某事或某人的话，则是believe sth，或trust in sth。 一定不要记混。
Below 介词，副词：在。。。下，低于。
考点1：在。。下。Eg：He dived below the surface of the water.
考点2：低于，Eg: The temperature remained below zero. Eg: below the average

要记着below的反义词是above，所以above的意思反过来就是below的意思。
Beside 介词：在。。。旁边。
考点：在。。旁边，附近，Eg：Sit beside your sister.

beside the point， 跑题，不相干。
Besides 介词，副词：此外，除。。。之外。
考点1：除。。之外。Eg：We have lots of things in common besides music。 除了音乐，我们还有很多共同之处。（注意：共同之处包括音乐）
考点2：此外。在作文中可以经常用到，相当于what's more, in addition，secondly等。
