中考英语词汇必备攻略：常考词考点透彻分析第四讲

　　北京中考网：中考英语复习过程中，词汇自然是基础，基础打不好，更不用谈阅读、作文了，现在市面上的词汇书还是词汇课都是仅仅教如何背单词，而不是教如何用单词或者说单词如何考，为此学而思乐加乐英语名师孙晨皓老师为大家做了一个真正的词汇串讲，给出每个词的用法和考点，以及相关拓展和辨析。在此为大家呈现的是孙晨皓老师的第四讲：

　　Although 连词：虽然，尽管

　　考点1：当即使讲，假设关系，同even though/though. Eg：She'll be coming tonight, although I don't know exactly when.

　　考点2：当尽管讲，让步关系。Eg：She walked home by herself, although she knew that it was dangerous.

　　通常情况下我们不强调区分假设关系和让步关系，但有时必须要区分的时候，假设关系的意思是事情还未发生做出的条件性假设，而让步关系的意思是事情已经发生后做出的让步或转折。

　　Among 介词：在。。其中，被。。。围绕

　　考点1：在。。其中。Eg：A British woman was among the survivors.

　　考点2：被。。。围绕。Eg：a village among hills

　　Among和between的区别在于：1.among用于三者或三者以上，而between用于二者之间。

　　2.between在某些时候也能用于三者以上，但强调的是每两个之间的关系。

　　And 连词：和，并且，然后。

　　考点1：当和来讲，并列。注意：在完型中and有其非常重要的作用，and前后的词或句，要么是近义关系，要么是反义关系。比如：love and respect，joy and sorrow，hope and fear。了解到这一点，会极大的促进做题。

　　考点2：然后，表顺承。如在祈使句中，work hard，and you will succeed.

　　Angry 形容词：生气的，愤怒的。

　　考点1：be angry with sb at/about Eg: Please don't be angry with me. It wasn't my fault.

　　考点2：be angry at sb for sth 因某事生某人的气. Eg: I was angry with myself for making such a stupid mistake. 我因为犯了这麽愚蠢的错误而在生自己的气.

　　Another 形容词，代词：别的，另外的。

　　考点1：代词，表再一个，另一个。Eg: I don't like this room let's ask for another.

　　考点2：形容词，又一，再一。Eg：Would you like another cup of tea?

　　one way or another，无论怎样

　　Answer 名词，动词：回答，反应，答案。

　　考点1：名词，答案，回复。Eg：Who knows the answer to this question? Eg：I rang the bell but there was no answer.

　　考点2：动词，回答，反应，回复。Eg：answer the telephone Eg：answer sb's call（相应某人的号召）Eg：He answered my question.

　　Answer和reply区别不是很大，主要在于answer比较口语，而reply则更为正式一些。Eg：I sent in my application, and the university replied immediately.

　　我把申请书交上去了, 大学方面立即给了答复。

　　Any 代词，形容词：任何的

　　考点1：形容词，任何。常用语疑问和否定句中。Eg：Do you know any French? Eg：There was hardly any free time.

　　考点2：代词。也常用于疑问和否定句中。

　　If any，若有的话。 Not any more，不再。

　　Anybody，任何人。 Anything，任何事。 Anything but，除此之外/绝不是。 Anyway，无论怎样。Anywhere，无论在任何地方。Anyhow，无论如何。

　　Apple 名词：苹果

　　无特殊考点，但有不少的拓展。

　　Adam's apple ，喉结。apple of discord，不和的种子。apple of one's eye，掌上明珠

　　Arm 名词：臂，扶手。动词：武装。

　　考点1: 手臂。Eg：She held the baby in her arms.

　　考点2：武装。Eg：Police say the man is armed and dangerous. 警方称该男子携有武器, 十分危险.

　　arm in arm，（指两人）挎着胳膊, 臂挽着臂 armed to the teeth , 武装到牙齿（全副武装）.

　　armed with, 用...武装起来, 装备有...的 army 军队。

　　Around 介词, 副词：围绕，环绕，大约。形容词：现存的。

　　考点1：表大约，同about。Eg：around 100 people ; at around five o'clock

　　考点2: 四处。Eg：children are playing around on the sand. Eg：I'll send someone to show you around.

　　考点3：围绕。Eg：The earth moves around the sun. Eg：The bookstore is just around the corner.

　　考点4：现存的。Eg：the most intelligent artist around today在世的最有才华的艺术家
