■ 在时间或条件状语从句中

主要指由 when, as soon as, before, after 等引导的时间状语从句和由if引导的条件状语从句。如：

Tell him as soon as he arrives. 他一到就告诉他。

I’ll go to see him when I have time. 我有时间要去看他。

If he calls, tell him I’ll ring back. 如果他来电话，告诉他我将给他回电话。

■ 在 be careful 后的 that 从句中

be careful 后接 that 从句时，表示“小心……”“当心……”等。如：

Be careful that you don’t hurt her feelings. 当心别伤了她的感情。

Be careful the dog doesn’t bite you. 小心别让狗咬着你。

He tells us to be careful that we don’t break the vase. 他叫我们小心，不要打破了花瓶。

■ 在 make sure 后的 that 从句中

make sure 的意思是“确保”“一定”“务必”等。如：

Make sure you come back soon. 你要保证快点回来。

Make sure you keep hold of my hand when we cross the road. 过马路时一定要抓住我的手。

You must get up early to make sure that you catch the early bus. 你必须早起以确保能赶上早班车。

■ 在 mind 后的 that 从句中

mind 的意思是“当心”“注意”“小心”等。如：

Keep close to me, and mind you don’t slip. 靠近我，小心别滑倒了。

Mind you don’t bump your head on the low ceiling. 天花板很低，留神别碰头。

■ 在 watch 后的 that 从句中

watch 的意思也是“当心”“注意”“小心”等。如：

Watch that the baby doesn’t go near the heater. 注意别让宝宝接近加热器。

■ 在 hope 后的宾语从句中

与以上情况必须要用一般现在时表示将来意义有所不同的是，hope 后的宾语从句，既可用一般现在时表示将来意义，也可直接使用将来时态。如：

I hope that we (will) have good weather. 我希望我们会有好天气。

I hope that you (will) have a wonderful time. 我希望你们玩儿得痛快。
